A driving assessment is extremely beneficial when a new driver joins a company to gain a more complete knowledge of the driver. It is often advantageous to have an online risk profiler completed in conjunction with an on-road assessment to learn more about the driver’s thought processes, behavioural traits and attitude to risk.
HSE ‘Driving at Work’ Guidelines state that “health and safety law applies to on-the-road work activities and the risks should be effectively managed within a health and safety system.”
The assessments complement a company’s Duty of Care to identify at risk personnel who would benefit from further driving development or identify whether an individual is fit to drive for the company.
